We will be returning to singing on Monday 6th September, at Grimsby Central Hall, 7 pm for a 7.30 pm start, until 9.30 pm. Full details of arrangements to make this as safe as possible, will follow.
In ancipation of this long-awaited day, we will be holding a 'return to singing' workshop/rehearsal on Saturday 21st August, also at Central Hall, from 10 am to 12 noon. Please get in touch if you are coming. All welcome!
If you are new and/or your name is not on the list, please write your name at the bottom.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR REHEARSALS
Although rehearsals are 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm we thought it might be a good idea to give time beforehand for socialising, messages, raffles, etc, so the hall will be ready from 7 pm for that purpose.
The extra time will also allow for a spread of arrival times rather than all trying to get in for 7.15 this will hopefully avoid too much 'bunching'. There are two entrances to the Roy Kemp Hall. Altos and basses are to use the first door, sopranos and tenors are to use the second one further down the corridor. This is to avoid bunching up to get in. Please use the same doors on exiting the hall. On entering there is a hand sanitising station at both doors. PLEASE USE IT.
You will need to sign in and there will be appropriate lists at both entrances. The lists will be slightly different from our usual, eg, all sopranoss 1st and 2nd, will be on one sheet in alphabetical order. Similarly for all other voices. PLEASE USE YOUR OWN PEN/PENCIL FOR SIGNING IN.
Masks are not mandatory, but if you wish to wear one, feel free to do so. Framed singers masks are available online which keep the mask off your face and make it easiser to sing. Chairs will be spaced out, if you wish to move next to your friend, that is up to you, but please respect other people's space. IF YOU HAVE ANY SYMPTOMS AT ALL, EVEN A COLD, PLEASE DO NOT COME TO REHEARSAL. Thank you.
